MomentumMCP

MomentumMCP is one server for all Momentum Labs software. Hiring, Admissions, and the products that follow use this same address. Tools are separated by product.

Add that URL as a custom MCP server in Cursor, Claude, or any other MCP client. Leave every API key field empty.

Security gate

This server uses OAuth. There is no shared API key.

The agent must ask the human to sign in and approve the connection in the browser, then wait. The agent does not sign in. The password stays in the browser.

Until someone approves, the server answers HTTP 401. Ask the human to sign in to MomentumMCP. That sign-in is the person’s Momentum Labs account.

After approval, the agent can do only what that signed-in person can do. A different person gets a different set of tools.

How to connect

In the client, add a custom MCP server by URL. In Cursor this is Settings, then MCP. In Claude this is Settings, then Connectors, then a custom connector.
Paste the server URL above. Do not paste a token or an API key. In Cursor you can use this config instead:

When the browser opens, the human signs in and approves. Tell the agent when that is done.
The agent then calls momentum_overview if it is in the tool list. If it is not, the agent uses the hiring tools below.

After you connect

Call momentum_overview first. It lists the products this account can use and the tools in each product. That is the bootstrap tool. It is not deployed yet. If tools/list does not include momentum_overview, it is not live. Use the hiring tools below, and call tools/list for the exact set this account can see.

Hiring is live now. Admissions is not on the server yet. When it ships, it uses this same URL, with its own tools, separate from hiring. The same server also has team, invite-code, rep-calendar, and AI-settings tools. They appear only when this person is allowed to use them.

Hiring tools, live now

hiring_list_candidates: List candidates. Filter by name, email, company, role, or stage.
hiring_get_candidate: One candidate: profile, events, files, calls, notes, and roles.
hiring_list_events: Hiring events, with signup and check-in counts.
hiring_get_event: One event and everyone who signed up.
hiring_list_roles: Open roles, with a count of candidates per stage.
hiring_get_role: One role and the candidates on it.
hiring_create_role: Create a role. Title is required.
hiring_update_role: Change a role’s fields. Stages are changed separately.
hiring_delete_role: Delete a role. Candidates stay in the pool.
hiring_set_candidate_stage: Put a candidate on a role at a stage, or move them.
hiring_remove_candidate_from_role: Take a candidate off a role. They stay in the pool.
hiring_add_note: Add a note on a candidate.
hiring_update_note: Replace a note.
hiring_delete_note: Delete a note.
hiring_log_call: Log a call by hand.
hiring_call_transcript: Transcript of a recorded candidate call.
hiring_file_links: Download links for candidate, event, and role files. Valid one hour.
hiring_delete_file: Delete a stored file.

If an agent sent you here

The agent cannot sign in for you. Add the server URL in the app it is using, leave the API key blank, and sign in when the browser opens. Approve the connection. Then tell the agent you did. You are not creating a key to share. The agent works as you, and only as far as your account already can.
